Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.-Mark 12:30

Worship

Welcome to Worship at TPCoSS! In recognizing that we worship a living and Holy God, at Trinity Presbyterian we strive for worship to be at the center of all that we do as a community of faith. Our worship services are rooted in the Reformed tradition, adherent to biblical scripture and centered upon the renewal and affirmation of our relationship with a loving God whose grace has been revealed in Jesus Christ. We hope that you will join us!

welcome to tpcoss

Services

We offer two services each Sunday; Informal and Traditional. The Informal service begins at 9am and the Traditional begins at 11am. Each service is an equal expression of worship to our Lord, and we strive to provide a voice and manner in which you can find comfort, spiritual nourishment, and renewal in your relationship with God.

In the Traditional Worship service, a familiar framework of praise, prayer, song, service and sacrament are utilized as an expression of our desire to worship God with the dignity and reverence due to Him. At the same time, we do this with the warmth and wonder that Jesus Christ brings to our lives. The music for worship is traditional in nature and is led by the Chancel Choir, organ, handbells, and a variety of guest instrumentalists. While the service is labeled "traditional," there is no dress code. You may choose your "Sunday best" or attend in casual attire.

The Informal Worship service provides worshippers with the same meaningful experience as the Traditional Worship service in a more casual atmosphere. The service provides for a greater variety of traditional and contemporary worship music and preaching that offers a relevant connection to your life. Our church celebrates the Lord's Supper every Sunday at the 9am service. As with the Traditional Service, there is no dress code. Come as you are. Christ did not discriminate based upon age, ethnicity, economic background, etc. ...and neither do we.

Communion

Our church celebrates Communion every Sunday at the 9am service and monthly at the 11am service. All are welcome at the Lord's table. God's love and mercy are for any who choose to accept it and turn to Him. Jesus modeled his unconditional love for each of us by reaching out to the broken, the sinful, the outcasts and the least among us. Everyone is welcome at the table. You are welcome at the table. Join us at the table and taste the amazing grace He gives freely to those that come to Him. The is always enough at this table for everyone.

Children and Worship

Sunday morning at Trinity Presbyterian is where children and their families have an opportunity to connect with God. Families worship together. Worship is essential, and children are encouraged to actively participate in worship service. To assist your child in worship, our “Pew Pals” worship bags can be picked up at the beginning of service in the baskets located in the rear of the sanctuary. Inside, you will find a number of worship aids to help your child develop an understanding of the different parts of worship and the reason why worship is so meaningful to our community of faith.

Nursery/ Childcare: Additionally, we offer a loving, safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers to go to while their parents worship. For additional information on the Nursery, please contact Barbara Tisich at (985)856.3825.

Children's Church: "Children & Worship" is offered for children in K-3rd grade on Sunday mornings for both worship services. Parents who choose to have their children attend bring their children to worship. Following the children's moment in service, the Children & Worship teacher will lead the group to a "kid-friendly" worship experience that includes music, prayer, crafts and a Bible lesson. The curriculum is liturgically based and interactive. Volunteers are encouraged to get involved. This is an opportunity for your children to become excited about God and church. For more information, please contact Jeremy Marzicola at (727)967.2370.

Need Addition Assistance?

Assistive Listening Devices: To enhance the worship experience of the hearing impaired members and visitors, assistive listening devices are available during both worship services. The devices are available in the Narthex. You may ask any usher or greeter for assistance.

Additional Aids: Visitors and members who have physical limitations that might impair their worship experience are encouraged to speak to any of our ushers, who can provide wheelchair assistance and assist in seating those with physical limitations.

Worship at Trinity Presbyterian Church is enhanced by the many volunteers who tend to the details. You are encouraged to participate in one of the many volunteer opportunities.
