3 Cents A Meal
Three pennies make a difference.
When you walk into the church entrance, you see a table display with water bottles. Those bottles are there for your refreshment. When you empty the bottles, we ask you to refill them at mealtime; three pennies per meal. It is a concrete way to remember the words and works of Jesus Christ.
Three cents does not seem like much, but your small contribution goes a long way! This program is active across the Presbytery of Tampa Bay. $2.52 a month multiplied by the many members of the churches of Tampa Bay is quite significant.
25% stays in your congregation to benefit feeding ministries you are involved in. Food pantires, homeless ministries, and...35% goes to Beth-El Mission to help with their ministries with migrant farmworkers. Worship-Prayer-Holistic Care-Education and Teaching. 35% Helps The Presbytery of Honduras as they seek to spread the good news of God’s love in Jesus Christ. Leadership Development, Health Care Ministries, Christian Education, Evangelism, and 5% for International Partnership, which helps send a large shipment of goods to Honduras to aid in outreach.
