BECOME A MEMBER OF TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF SEVEN SPRINGS

Choosing to become a part of a family of faith is a significant decision in our life. We regularly welcome people, just like you, who have decided to become members of this congregation. It is important that you give prayerful consideration to this decision, and we encourage you to learn more about who we are, what we profess in our faith, how we seek to live out God's Word in our lives, and how we strive to make a difference in the lives of those we connect with.

There is a three-step process toward membership:

1. While visiting service, sign our "Friendship Pad," and check the box indicating that you are interested in learning more about membership.
2. Attend an Inquirer's Class. This class allows you to learn more about our congregation and our beliefs. It is an opportunity for you to ask questions and share your own faith journey.
3. Formal acceptance by the church Session and recognition of membership during service.

Members are received into the Presbyterian Church in 4 ways:

1. By profession of faith in Jesus Christ as one’s Savior and Lord
2. By the re-profession of faith in Christ
3. By transfer of membership from any former Christian church
4. As an affiliate member, whereby one keeps membership in their other church, but becomes more than a “visitor” here

Our next Inquirers’ Class is scheduled April 22nd following the 11:00 worship service. A light lunch will be provided. On April 29th at 10:00am the Class will meet in the Choir Room for the purpose of meeting our elders and joining the church if you desire. Attending the classes is not a commitment to join the church. If you would like to attend the class, please contact the pastor or church office at 727.372.7203. Childcare is available upon request.
